c'était la réponse de BROMPTON à MICHAEL POUR LA traduction on peut utilisé saint google translate
Bonsoir à tous, voici la réponse que je reçois de chez Brompton :
Hi Michael,
Thank you for your enquiry but I am afraid I cannot look up the age from the BS (British Standard) number as we do not keep this information on file.
We can give you the bikes age if you can let me know either the frame or serial number for the bike I should be able to look this up for you. To be clear the frame number, currently 6 digits long, is stamped onto the part between the bottom of the seat tube and rear hinge facing upwards and looks like this –
Then the serial number is 10 digits long; the first 2 numbers are the year of production, the second 2 the month and the last 6 are sequentially raised through our production. This is written on the silver sticker on the seat tube at the back and looks like this –
Once we have the serial or frame number we can give you all the information regarding your bike.
I hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Nikita Nolan - Sales Administrator
